When I was made redundant for the fifth time in
my career Ann Collins helped me realise this
was the perfect opportunity to achieve my goals.
I had 3 months garden leave to start my own
company on full pay and redundancy to allow
me to continue for some months afterwards. My
experience as a senior manager resulted in my
being averse to the risk of starting my own
company. However having just read Robert
Kiyosaki's book Rich Dad Poor Dad talking to
Ann made me realise the time to take action is
now not in 10 years when all the opportunities
have already passed you by. I now have my own
profitable company and am no longer at the
beck and call of people I don't even know.
