Executive Coaching itself as an approach has devised its principles from sports psychology which dates as far back as 1918. Whilst many executive coaching approaches exist, there is limited research and evidence to the ways in
which they are successful and work.
Ann Collins uses a coaching psychology approach that based on good psychological principles.
Her approach supports Professor A. Grant (2005) and Professor S. Palmer’s view of coaching that addressess enhancing the well-being and performance of a client’s professional and personal life whilst being grounded in adult learning and/or different psychological approaches.
